Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (PNPs) are very special health care providers who are dedicated to improving children's health. PNPs have advanced education in pediatric nursing and health care, and they serve children and families in an extensive range of practice settings. Stacey Payne-Peters, APRN, FNP-C
Stacey has been part of the Sun Country medical team for going on 10 years!
Stacey is the mother of 4 boys and one daughter! In her spare time she enjoys traveling and being crafty in her “She-Shed”.
Stacey has been working in the medical field for a few decades previously in Labor & Delivery.
Alicia Truitt, APRN, PNP-C
Alicia has been part of the Sun Country medical team for 8 years and counting.
Alicia is has a son and daughter and enjoys spending time with her family.
sara south, APRN, PNP-C
Sara is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who has been with the Sun Country team since June 2022. She has earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of West Florida.
She is passionate about personalized care and providing compassionate, comprehensive evaluations to children and their families.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, crafting, and being with her family.
VANESSA ROMERO, aprn, fnp-c
Vanessa received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Florida, and her Masters Degree from Miami Regional University. Her background and passion in medicine is in Neurology.
In her spare time she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending quality time with her large chaotic family!
